Services:

For computer repair services, our warranties include:

  • 1 Year Warranty on New hardware for any manufacturing defects
  • 3 Months Warranty for second-hand or used hardware.

These warranties are in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law and Consumer Guarantees.

Products:

For products purchased in-store or online through https://mrit-ballarat.au, our warranties include:

  • 1 Year Warranty on New items
  • 3 Months Warranty on second-hand or used items

These warranties are in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law and Consumer Guarantees.

Coverage:

For New items, MR IT BALLARAT guarantees that:

  1. The original purchaser that any part of the Product, excluding software, documentation and other peripherals, will be free of defects of both workmanship and materials for the warranty period included with the purchase. The date of warranty coverage starts from the date of the original retail purchase.
  2. MR IT BALLARAT shall, under no circumstances, be liable to provide warranty service for products that have been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse or misapplication, for example, unauthorized overclocking or undervolting. This also applies if the product has been modified without written agreement from MR IT BALLARAT. Any issues caused by voltage manipulation will not be covered under the MR IT BALLARAT warranty. Issues arising from the product not being cleaned or maintained properly are not covered under the MR IT BALLARAT warranty, this includes cleaning of radiators and fans to allow adequate airflow.
  3. Any replacement parts will be warranted to be free of defects of workmanship and material for 3 months from time of replacement, or for the remainder of the warranty period of the original purchase from MR IT BALLARAT.

For Second-Hand items, MR IT BALLARAT guarantees that:

  1. the goods are of acceptable quality
  2. the goods are fit for any disclosed purpose
  3. The goods match the description given to the consumer
  4. If supplied based on a sample or demonstration model, the goods correspond with the quality, state or condition of the sample or demonstration model and are free from any defect not apparent in the sample or model.
  5. Given age and quality, second-hand item may not be expected to last as long as a new item.

Making a warranty claim

Please notifiy MR IT BALLARAT immediately either by phone (03 4368 7637) or by email (sales@mrit-ballarat.au) for any repair concerns or warranty claims. MR IT BALLARAT may take up to 3 business days to respond to the claim.

Limited Warranty Information:

Except as provided in this warranty and to the extent permitted by law, MR IT BALLARAT is not responsible for loss of data, damage or corruption of data, loss of revenue, loss of money or expected money or anticipated money, loss of business or downtime.

MR IT BALLARAT warranties cannot be excluded by the Australian Consumer Law.
